Catkins Florals, founded by Cat, is a floral studio deeply inspired by the rhythm of the seasons and beauty in nature’s quirks, with a hope to express the stories that flowers create.

Professionally trained, Cat started her journey gaining a Level 2 Apprentice before progressing onto a Level 4 Higher Diploma in Floristry, studying at The Floristry School, Sheffield.

Catkins are a signal of the quiet arrival of spring — a promise of change, new life, and emerging colour. When Cat began her floristry journey as an apprentice, Garryaelliptica '“catkins” were used in her very first design, foraged from the tree just outside her window. Looking back, it felt like a quiet confirmation: the beginning of something deeply rooted, as a strong passion began to take shape.

At Catkins Florals, we design florals for a range of occasions: Gifts, Funerals, Weddings, Events, Installations & Editorial Work, with the aim to use seasonal materials and with the intention of telling a story of the season.
